Sihăstria Putnei Monastery is an Orthodox Christian monastery in Northeastern Romania. In 2006 I took photos at Sihăstria Putnei Monastery for the photo album „Chipuri de viață monahală” (Faces from Monastic Life). At the end of my visit the abbot told me: „Let’s meet in 10 years to make the next album.” So in 2016 I returned to the Sihăstria Putnei Monastery. And in 2017 the photo album „Zâmbetul împărăției” (The Smile of the Kingdom) was printed. In this series I alternated photos from 2006 and 2016.
